Ömer Ademoğlu is a muezzin at the mosque where his father, Reşat, serves as the imam. After recently losing his mother, Ömer continues his life with his father and his grandmother Nezahat, carrying the pain of this loss in his heart. The youngest of three siblings, he is deeply affected by the family’s wounds—especially when his beloved sister Nisa marries against the wishes of their father and brother and becomes estranged from the family. Searching for a way to heal from these conflicts and losses, Ömer turns to his lifelong passion for drawing, continuing to pursue art despite his family’s objections. Yet drawing will not be his only love. One day he meets Gamze, an older woman who is a widow with a child, and they fall deeply in love—though sustaining this relationship will prove to be far from easy.
