The Festival of Troubadours tells the story of a father and son whose paths cross again after being separated for 25 years. Lawyer Yusuf and his father, the minstrel Heves Ali, who went their separate ways years ago, reunite after a quarter of a century.

During the long—perhaps final—journey they embark on together, father and son confront their past while trying to overcome the challenges that lie ahead of them.
